Overview
Those who enroll in Italian Language and Culture courses, such as Società Dante Alighieri Tokyo’s comprehensive Italian course, will be granted membership and receive an annual membership card. (Valid from January 1 to December 31 each year).
As a member, you can enjoy various benefits, including discounts for seminars, events, exhibitions, concerts, and more, organized or supported by the association. In addition to these benefits, the membership card provides access to discounts and special offers at partner stores, museums, restaurants, and hotels in Italy and other countries affiliated with the Dante Alighieri Association.
Of course, those not studying Italian can also become members by paying the annual membership fee. As members, they will enjoy the aforementioned benefits and, at the same time, contribute to fostering better mutual understanding between Italian and Japanese cultures.
Membership Fee and Validity Period
・The annual membership fee is ¥6,000 (tax included).
・The membership is valid from the date of enrollment until December 31st of the same year, regardless of enrollment date.
A free membership card will be provided
Those who enroll in the following Italian language courses at Società Dante Alighieri Tokyo will receive a membership card (or a renewal sticker in the case of updates) for free:
- General Course, Translation Course: 1 term
- Private Lessons (10 sessions bulk purchase): 1 set
- Semi-Private Lessons (6 sessions): 2 sets
- Free Talk (8 sessions): 3 sets
- Free Talk (4 sessions): 4 sets
How to Join or Renew Membership
New or Renewing Members:
- Visit the office to join or renew.
- Pay the annual fee (6,000 yen) via bank transfer or credit card at the office.
- New members get a membership card, and renewing members get a renewal sticker.
For Students in Eligible Courses:
- Pay for your course first, then visit the office to receive your membership card or renewal sticker.
Postal Delivery for Membership Card:
- If you want your card mailed to you, please pay the membership fee plus 82 yen for postage.
- Email the office with your name, address, phone number, and request for postal delivery.
*The membership is for the cardholder only.
*A replacement fee of 6,000 yen (tax included) will be charged if the membership card is lost.
