Giulia Bulfoni
GGDA Head Teacher
Hello everyone. My name is Giulia, I’m from Venice, and I love Japan. I enjoy cooking, painting, and dancing traditional Japanese dances while wearing a yukata.
I started teaching Italian in Tokyo and discovered that I really enjoy it because Japanese students, both young and old, are inquisitive, fun, and excellent listeners.

Miki Callai
GGDA Administrator/Teacher
My name is Miki Callai. I was born in Florence and moved to Japan when I was ten years old. I graduated in Foreign Languages and Linguistics, specializing in Russian at Sophia University, but I also studied Spanish, Portuguese, and French. I love learning new languages, cooking, traveling, and listening to music. I really enjoy sharing my two cultures and teaching languages.

Eleonora Di Sabatino

Hi! I’m Eleonora, an Italian teacher at GGDA in Ikebukuro and the Dante Alighieri Italian school in Shibuya. I was born and raised in Abruzzo and moved to Japan in 2024 as a language student. I hold an MA in Languages and Civilizations of Asia and Mediterranean Africa from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Foreign languages are my greatest passion, which is why I decided to become an Italian teacher. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, crocheting, and cooking Italian dishes. I look forward to meeting you at GGDA!
