Seminar Content

Dante’s Paradiso in The Divine Comedy is a soul’s journey filled with joy, light, and music, transcending human imagination. It is a world where a sublime vision, far beyond human understanding and language, is depicted. In Paradise, which does not physically exist, Dante encounters souls enjoying eternal bliss.

In this seminar, we will learn what kind of place the heaven Dante reached is, what kind of souls can ultimately reach it, and what Dante wanted to convey to the reader in Paradiso.

Dante’s journey, guided by Beatrice, is not just a story, but a journey to explore “love” and “truth” in our own lives. Why not experience this journey with us?

This seminar will be conducted with simultaneous interpretation in Italian and Japanese.

We welcome those who are new to Dante or interested in Italian literature to attend.
